Who are we?
Local Tech Team is in most cases a local consortium of IT professionals working on behalf of the small to mid-size business. We take on larger clients ofcourse but we all worked for Fortune 1000 clients at one point and really enjoy working for the growing business just as much. With that in mind, we keep our rates affordable ranging anywhere from $25/hr for offsite work to up to $60/hr for specialty type of work. We consider ourselves a team and work to support eachother on projects or recommend eachother if we feel that a project or engagement may better suit the other. The key is when it comes to price or which individual actually gets selected we are flexible.
By banding together, we can pretty much cover about every IT challenge you could throw our way from setting up sophisticated networks to building a simple website. Although we love technology we don't classify ourselves as "geeks". We take pride in also having a solid business sense and finding a happy marriage between technology and business.

Specialties
Over the years, we have developed a number of strengths. Here are some of our most recent:
CRM/ERP/OMS
We have created from scratch a similar application to SalesForce.com and we have worked and integrated with numerous other leading CRM and Order Management Applications. We have even tied these applications to common financial packages such as Quickbooks and/or MS Great Plains Software. We understand both the business logic and technical architecture of what it takes to put together a robust and powerful ERP.
Intranets/Extranets/Portals
These types of applications are often ideal for businesses that serve as a middleman or broker in their marketplace and need to tie together various entities from customers to vendors to affiliates. Mashups/Mapping/GPS
Creating custom robust mapping applications used to be solely in the domain of larger organizations. Now with Google Maps, Yahoo Maps and Microsoft Local Live making their APIs available to freelancers such as us, we’ve had the opportunity to create dozens of very useful applications in a short amount of time many of which use GPS data to show real time tracking.
Reports/Access/Crystal Reports/SQL Reporting Services
Our experience has shown us that the trend in application development is for applications and websites to be dynamic pulling from content that resides in a database. In addition, the need to report and provide accurate information to stakeholders is also emphasized more now than before. The Local Tech Team has been staying ahead of the curve.
